Allyson Harten

I am Allyson Harten and am a fourth year student here at UGA. I am majoring in Exercise and Sport Science while working towards a minor in Childhood and Family development. After graduation this fall, I am hoping to begin work on my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. In the process, however, I am employed as a Student Tech at Horizon Physical Therapy where I am learning to incorporate injury prevention techniques into our WoW! Workouts!

I have grown up in a family that has always strongly encouraged physical activity. I tried my hand at almost every sport but have found running to be my niche. I ran both cross country and track competitively for six years and have continued to train throughout college. Most recently, I have crossed over into longer distance races, running a couple half marathons.

I have loved every moment of getting to know my Boot Campers, and their dedication and determination and excitement for life has been truly inspiring. I can only hope to be as strong and beautiful as each of you (inside most especially)!
